The original version of British soul singer Lianne La Havas's "Forget" was an acousti journey into the scorn of an angry romantic partner. Liverpool producer Mele' refashioned La Havas's sadistic refutes into a horn-filled, dubstep influenced head-nodder that could easily be at home in the mix of your favorite nightclub. La Havas doesn't strike me as one whose vocals would be at home in the world of electronic, but her powerful voice serves Mele's purposes quite well.
