"So I salute and advise you not to shoot, you are not equivalent or parallel to my level. Sub-par, So coming at me wrong is worse then being on the carousel with the devil."
Man, I used to love Twista back in the early 2000's. Between joints like "Slow Jamz" and "Overnight Celebrity," he was heavy in my playlist - due in no small part to the ill production of a young, ambitious producer by the name of Kanye Omari West. Soon after his explosion onto the national scene, he seemed to be prepared to sink back into the Chicago underground permanently. Lord knows his flow has always been a whirlwind unlike any other, but he suffered from subpar lyricism and a lack of a cohesive song. That's part of why this joint caught me off guard so hard. I had good feelings when I saw Ab-Soul was also on the track, and I was not dissapointed. Frankly, I'm not sure if I've ever heard Twista this sharp lyrically. Ab-Soul just seems to keep getting hotter. I ain't mad. Not one bit. Download "Twista Reloaded" in its entirety.
