Atlanta-based emcee/producer Russ, one fourth of the Atlanta collective known as DIEMON, tells a story of paranoia, confusion, and pursuit in "Straight From Limbo." The video begins with Russ and a group of friends trying to commit a drunken prank, but soon devolves into Russ running to escape an unknown danger. Angry, aggressive rhymes mesh with the winding, eerie instrumental to make listeners feel as if they are part of the chase. The man definitely knows how to tell a thrilling story. Russ proclaims "I misplaced all my luck a long time ago, now it's just skill." Considering all the aspects of this track that Russ wsa involved in, "Straight From Limbo" is a prime example of such skill.
