There's a lot to look out for in Brooklyn these days. A host of collectives such as Pro.Era and Phony Ppl have gained national attention. But these groups are not exceptions to the populace. Brooklyn has long had a history of hip-hop excellence. Ali Laith might not have the popularity of his peers, yet. But he does have the emceeing skills and charisma to carry him a long way. His video, "In My Zone," is a demonstration of such. Hopefully this is just the beginning of his path to greater things, but this by itself is pretty damn good. His mixtape, A Midnight Rebel will be released some time very soon. Look out for Ali Laith, and look out for Brooklyn.
