And here is Episode III of "Unexpected But Dope Collaborations," starring Flying Lotus and.....Earl Sweatshirt of Odd Future? Oh, and "Captain Murphy," who sounds remarkably like Tyler, the Creator himself. Could it be? ....but I digress. I had no idea these two groups were even in the same musical hemisphere. The combination produces an interesting, trippy, unorthodox final product. Somewhat creepy vocal distortions on Earl's and Tyler's (I mean, Murphy's) vocals can be a bit disorienting, but the two emcees flow well over Flying Lotus's complex instrumentation for what will soon be a delightful late night snack courtesy of Adult Swim.
