This is a lot more than what I would define as a mash-up. Way more complex than that. There is a definitive plot engineered by this talented team of producers. Lana Del Ray plays the symbolic alluring life that Shawn Carter fights so desperately to avoid, but eventually gives in to. The beautifully crafted soundscape tells a story all within itself.
